What year did you graduate from Burlington High School?

2020

Tell us about your accomplishments since graduating from BHS.

After graduation, I attended SCC. I earned my AA in 2022, took half a year off, and now in August, after I student teach, I will be done with my Bachelor’s in Elementary Education! My goal is to land a job as either a 1st grade, or kindergarten teacher!

Do you have any advice for recent and future graduates?

You may walk into adulthood with no clue what you want, and thats okay. You may change your mind 50 times, that’s okay. If something doesn’t feel right, that’s okay. There are no instructions for adulthood. There’s no “right” path, but there is a wrong one, and that’s giving up. Keep going, enjoy the good times, soak up every moment, the good and bad, and you will find your way eventually.

How did your time at BHS impact your adult life?

BHS had a huge part in preparing me to be a teacher. ❤️
