Tell us about your accomplishments since graduating from BHS.
I have a 12-year-old daughter and she will be going into middle school. I am also entering my sixth year as a paraeducator for the Burlington Community School District. I have my para certificate and my sub certificate for middle school special education.
During your time at BHS, did you have a favorite staff member who had a positive impact on you? Tell us about them.Â
Ms. Anderson. She was the typing and business professional teacher. She pushed me to be a better typest and person.
Do you have any advice for recent and future graduates?
Always work toward your goals and your dreams.
How did your time at BHS impact your adult life?
After graduating, I was unsure what I wanted to be, so I went to college for general classes. Down the road, I realized that I wanted to be able to help kids, and that is why I went to apply for the associate position and I have never looked back. I love my job and the kids I work with everyday.
