Tell us about your accomplishments since graduating from BHS.
I have associate’s degree in early childhood development. I have been in a relationship since 2018, we have bought a house, have a beautiful babygirl, and two doggos!
During your time at BHS, did you have a favorite staff member who had a positive impact on you? Tell us about them.
Mrs. Krieger and Mrs. King! Both of these women supported me in some of my hardest times in my life and helped me believe in myself. Mrs. Krieger made me feel seen and heard when I felt I was alone. And Mrs. King help me believe in my writing and helped me find a love for it! Honorable mention to Mrs. Breuer and Mrs. Cassie Gerst!
Do you have any advice for recent and future graduates?
If you need help mentally or physically, don’t be afraid to talk to the adults in your life; nine times out of 10 they will have helpful advice and companionship! If it wasn’t for my teachers and the nurse, I would not have made it through high school. Even though they may seem like your biggest enemy sometimes, they are there to help!
How did your time at BHS impact your adult life?
I met my partner/ the father of my child in high school! It helped me become independent and helped me learn how to deal with my anxiety! Most of all it helped me be a leader and mentor to lots of little kids and classmates which is my biggest passion now!
