About the project
Burlington Community School District voters recently approved an increase of up to 67 cents per $1,000 taxable valuation to the district’s Voted Physical Plant and Equipment Levy for up to five years. The revenue generated by this increase will be used to expand the existing auditorium space at Aldo Leopold Intermediate School to create a performing arts center that will be used by the entire district.
We at BCSD are so grateful for the support our community has given our performing arts programming and students, and we want members of our community to have a voice in the plans for the project. Over the coming months, we will host a series of community stakeholder meetings to gather input from community members and groups. Dates will be posted as they are determined. This page will be updated as the project and planning for it progress.
