Board policy provides the general direction as to what the board wishes to accomplish while allowing the superintendent to implement board policy. Policies are reviewed on a regular basis to ensure relevance to current practices and compliance with the law.

Policy statements may be proposed by a board member, administrator, employee, student or any other member of the school district community. Proposed policy statements or ideas must be submitted to the board through the superintendent’s office to be placed on the agenda of a school board meeting.

Policies are in the process of being uploaded in a way that’s more searchable and user friendly. In the meantime, board policies are still available here.
